With funds made available through the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) passed by bipartisan support and signed into law by President Trump on March 27th, 2020. All Dugger Union Community Schools students will be receiving a computing device beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. Students will receive the following computing device:
- Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: iPad
- 3rd grade through 9th Grade: iPad with keyboard
- 10th grade through 12th Grade: MacBook
Dugger Union Community School Corporation’s 1 to 1 program will give all, kindergarten through 12th grade, access to technology resources for school work and enrichment activities. The purpose of DUCSC’s technology program is to provide additional educational resources and communication methods for students and teachers. These resources will help teachers facilitate education and research consistent with the objectives and goals of DUCSC.
Each device will come with a case and a charger. Parents must agree to the Technology/Acceptable Use Policy.

Dugger Union Community Schools has chosen Worth Ave. Group as the vendor of choice to insure school-issued device given to
students and faculty. Insurance with Worth Ave. Group will protect the device against an assortment of
damages. This insurance policy will provide full replacement cost coverage. This policy is also transferable to a
